About Us

Honey from the Tropical Forests

Del Bosque derives their honey from Santa Cruz, Bolivia region. Bolivia has an extraordinary natural wealth and biodiversity, with conditions ranging from the temperate highlands and valleys to the tropical lowlands. The Department of Santa Cruz lies in the tropical region of the country, with over 18 million acres of forest that cover an abundant natural vegetation. 

Del Bosque

Is responsible for the Collection, Storage, Separation and promotion of various products under a system of strict quality control. We have an association, ADAPICRUZ, translated to -The Beekeepers Association of Santa Cruz Department. ADAPICRUZ has more than 250 beekeepers producing our high quality honey following a standard protocol in the management of bees to ensure the production and extraction of honey under hygiene conditions called Guide to Good Beekeeping (GGB). These products are sold in the domestic market, United States and Europe.

Del Bosque (meaning The Hives of the Forest) processing plant operates under full authorization of the national food and health regulations of SENASAG. In addition the company applies its Guidelines for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), employing quality control with the selection of raw honey types by regional and floral origin with precise criteria for handling, storage, bottling, labeling, marketing and distribution of its produce
